First of all, this is on a Windows SD, but I was hoping it would work
now. If I'm not doing something dumb I'll probably be abandoning the
Windows SD after this.
The SD rebooted. There may have been a job running when it did, but I
don't think so. Now it says it wants tape #3, which is the one that was
in the drive. This tape is a*lmost full.*
14-May 08:53 kestrel-sd: Please mount Volume "tape-pool1-0003" on Storage Device
"VS160" (Tape0) for Job BackupCatalog_tape.2007-05-13_23.10.01
Tape #3 was already in the drive. So I try a mount command. It says it
succeeds:
*mount VS160
3001 OK mount. Device="VS160" (Tape0)
But it doesn't do a thing.
The storage status looks like this:
.
.
.
====
Device status:
Device "kestrel-file" (C:\bacula-storage\file) is not open.
Device "VS160" (Tape0) is not open.
Device is BLOCKED waiting for media.
====
In Use Volume status:
tape-pool1-0003 on device "VS160" (Tape0)
====
So I try unmounting it and it says it's already unmounted:
*unmount VS160
3901 Device "VS160" (Tape0) is already unmounted.
*
I replaced the tape with another that is in the "Purged" state and try
mounting it. Same thing - it reports the mount is successful, and then
when I try to unmount it says it's not mounted.
What should I do?
