One tape only does not count as a backup, in my opinion ;-)

Uh... no. You can put as many tapes as you want into each pool. Well, 
almost, because obviously there are limits to the catalog database.

No, a volume is exactly one tape, and vice versa, from Baculas point of 
view.

Not exactly... if you've got full and differential jobs on one tape, 
Bacula will read what it needs. If it needs another tape, it will prompt 
for it, or load it from the autochanger if you've got one.
