I confirm you just have to do "unmount" in bconsole and exit to do "mt"
commands
But it will be great if we can unlabel & eject directly in bconsole (after
umount command)

Well, did you try unmounting or releasing the storage device? That
should work and allow you to access the tape drive from outside of Bacula.
