Looks like that... > Can you please give me some insight into setting up > restrivcted console. There is also nothing much about it in the manual. Hmm... I usually have the development manual version open, and the link to the section you'll want to read is http://www.bacula.org/dev-manual/FileSet_Resource.html#SECTION0015110000000000000000 Look at the third console type. The name of the consle would be something like whatever-fd, if you followed the usual naming conventions, and it would need a 'CommandACL = setip' (or more commands). A script to call that command from the client would look like 'echo setip | bconsole -c ...' on unix, and probably something like bconsole -c ... < C:\path\to\file where the file would simply contain the command setip. Of course I have not tested this on windows, and I'm much less fluent in windows command languange han, for example, in bash :-) Arno > Or if you can pelse just send me the link. > > Thanks > > On 4/26/07, *Arno Lehmann* <[EMAIL PROTECTED] > <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>> wrote: > > Hello, > > On 4/25/2007 9:48 PM, Naufal Sheikh wrote: > > Hi everyone, > > > > Can any one please give me insight into the direction which I should > > follow for configuring a DHCP client for backup. > > I see three possible solutions. > > One, set up your dhcp server to assigne the same addresses to the > machines.
