All I can think of (I don't use a tape drive) it that you may have
this set for the storage daemon:
Volume Poll Interval = 15m
Of course, if all jobs were really done, then it shouldn't be looking
for a new volume... Hmm.
Is this a fresh install, or an inherited configuration?
