Hello, Someone on one of these lists recently (last 6 months to 1 year) sent me a suggestion for Linux kernel ioctl()s (or another API) that could be used to advise the kernel how you are going to read or write a file so that the kernel could optimize pre-fetching/writing data.
I seem to have misplaced this email. Could someone remind me what the name of those ioctl()s or APIs are?
