I've a LTO-3 drive and have no special hardware config in my
bacula-sd.conf. For spooling I use an extra RAID 0 device with ~440 GB
free disk space. I don't run concurrent jobs, so I can use the whole
device for a job.

Maximum Spool Size = 420g
Maximum Job Spool Size = 420g
Spool Directory = /bacula-spool/
