Hi, I haven't resolved the problem yet, I'm backuping on disk at the moment. The problem is that it's very difficult to test because it can run 10 jobs without any problems and then suddenly fail for the next one ... I've ran the btape test / btape fill several times without any errors, and the drive is properly initialized (I followed http://www.bacula.org/dev-manual/Testing_Your_Tape_Drive.html#SECTION004035000000000000000) I'm pretty sure that it should be a wrong/missing parameter in bacula-sd.conf, so if you find it .. I am interested :-)
(Also, I plan to test the drive under FreeBSD when I have a little time) Regards, Julien On Sat, 2007-03-31 at 14:38 -0400, Mike Seda wrote: > I have a similar MTEOM error with one of my tapes.
