sorry, was a typo error.
still, typing:
/usr/local/sbin/bacula-dir -fv -d99 -u bacula -g bacula -c
/usr/local/etc/bacula-dir.conf

works fine. yet

/usr/local/etc/rc.d/bacula-dir start

does not work and leave a message in /var/log/message about sig 6/abort.

A buggy rc.d script. I am going to re-write it and see if that fixes
the problem.
