Hi, i read about the quick disconnect feature of bacula 2.0.3 in the release notes and wondered: how do you handle backups of notebooks and other computers on a not so regulary basis?
I want to give my users a simple tool à la "back me up!" which triggers the backup for the defined fileset and sends the user an email when the backup is complete and the user can disconnect from the network. My approach would be to control the backup via console and some command line scripting, etc. But if there is better way to do stuff like this, please let me know. Maybe i can do the same via python? Cheers, Steph. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
