Something else on that on which I do not know whether it relates to it: Having set up the device (as pointed out earlier, in bacula-sd.conf) and the Storage in bacula-dir.conf, I tried running "update slots scan" from within the bacula console: ... *update slots Automatically selected Storage: Tape Connecting to Storage daemon Tape at backer:9103 ... 3995 Device "LTO-2" (/dev/nst0) is not an autochanger. Enter autochanger drive[0]: ... Why? :o What did I miss so far? Both the Device and Storage configuration does have Autochanger=yes set, and I don't see any options missing here... Any ideas? Thanks in advance and bye, Kristian - storage configuration: Storage { Name = Tape Address = backer # N.B. Use a fully qualified name here SDPort = 9103 Password = "..." Device = LTO-2 Media Type = LTO-2 Autochanger=yes } Dipl.-Ing.(BA) Kristian Rink * Software- und Systemingenieur planConnect GmbH * Strehlener Str. 12 - 14 * 01069 Dresden fon: 0351 4657770 * mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] * http://www.pm-planc.de ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
