Hi Mikael, I use a few Qlogic QLA4010C and QLA4050C iSCSI HBAs [1] on my iSCSI SAN (EMC). All under Linux (we're a completely Linux shop server-wise) and all work well. There are (or at least were, I haven't checked lately) a few issues building the kernel module on *very* recent kernels (2.6.19 & 20) but earlier ones worked fine. Qlogic release their drivers under the GPL and update them fairly often so seem to be pretty good. Have used them under FC4/5 and RHEL4. I've just had a look and it looks like the Qlogic driver has recently been accepted for inclusion in the upstream kernel [2], the first for a iSCSI HBA. This should make this even simpler :) HTH Dan -- [1] - http://www.qlogic.com/products/iscsi_products_hba.asp [2] - http://www.qlogic.com/news-events/details/releases_details.asp?id=6711 Dan Hawker Linux System Administrator Astrium http://www.astrium.eads.net -- This email (including any attachments) may contain confidential and/or privileged information or information otherwise protected from disclosure.
