In that case, since you are using a dl series server anyway, the adapter I'm using would probably work equally well for your situation.
HP sales (SMB) has gotten engineers on the phone if there was a doubt about compatibility, and allowed us to exchange parts if they didn't work to our satisfaction. We're not a huge shop, so you could probably get the same service.
