Hi Kern et al, Thanks very much for that - yes ... I must always read the full ReleaseNotes for all major versions when upgrading. I must always read the full ReleaseNotes for all major versions when upgrading. I must always read the full ReleaseNotes for all major versions when upgrading. ...... That new (Autochanger) resource makes eminent sense though.
I appear to be running properly now, I did have a new hiccup though' (My usual gripe - but not really anything to do with bacula).... The mtx-changer script - someone added a bit of (counter) code that used a bash specific facility. - naughty!, some of us still have to use the original bourne shell. Had to replace the portion of script with a simple loop (although someone else on the mailing-list suggested a bit of perl). I can't really just install bash on the system - its a production system. Ah well such is the fragmented world of unix :) I do however have the following minor (out of interest) queries: The V10 DB has a tables "Device", "Location", "LocationLog", "Log", and "UnsavedFiles" which aren't populated. Curiosity begs me to ask what these tables are for? Thanks again - I particularly like the "reload" bconsole command - what a time-saver!. Andrew R Paterson DS Ltd.
