Well, my experience tells me that Bacula requires operator intervention
only when it really has no chance of doing anything. For example, all
tapes in the autochanger are full or belong to the wrong pools.

This is obviously something that can only be fixed by human intervention.

A clever setup :-)

- Keep enough tapes in the autochanger so that even if one is damaged,
there is enough room for your jobs.
- Keep volumes from all pools needed in the autochanger. (I especially
dislike the idea of having one Monday pool, one Tuesday pool, etc.,
becuase you've got so many pools in the end that, especially with
smaller autochangers, you simply can't have enough tapes in there.)

Apart from these rather general suggestions, it might help if you
described your specific problems more detailed.
