I have a question about the bacula tape handling. Environment: FreeBSD amd64 6.2 Bacula 2.0.2 Autochanger MSL6030 with two LTO-2 drives. Backup an Restore worked how i expected. But the restore of selected files from a backup is very slow. Tested with to jobs one restore 102mb an a solaris server. Takes 50 minutes to restore. The second job was restore 400mb on a windows 2003 server. This takes 1h and 20 minutes. Now the question. When i do a restore job in bacula. The SD load the Tape for the restore. How get Bacula the position of the files. Any settings to the sd-conf or the dir-conf to force bacula to write a signature an the tape to speed the spool of the drive up? Sorry for the bad english.
