My $.02. We have been using Bacula for Linux for nearly two years now (and one Windows server, regarding which I am having problems; see other posting). Our user files are on NetWare NSS volumes, and we are committed to migrating them to OES Linux Real Soon Now. As a result, I have been tasked with looking into an affordable backup solution that will preserve NSS metadata.
There are commercial products that will do what we want for $$$$$$$$$$$$. Obviously, we would be very pleased if Bacula, which I have come to trust, figured out a way to handle that. Then we would have a single backup solution instead of two (we currently use Backup Exec 9 for NetWare and some Winders). If we can help, let me know. -- Tks n rgds, Richard White CNE6 Network Engineer Mason County, Washington 360-427-5501 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
