Hello All,After reading about the improvements to the autoloader functionality
of 2.0, I am thinking about doing an upgrade soon. I am currently running
1.38.11. So far I haven't really run into any issue with 1.38.11 so I didn't
want to "rock-the-boat" so soon after getting everything configured.Anyway, I
am wondering how Bacula stores data on the tapes, is it some kind of open
format? Does 2.0 by default encrypt tapes or does it use the same format as
1.38.11? We are not worried about encryption so I just want to make sure that
all of the tapes are using the same format and that once I upgrade to 2.0, I
won't have issues retrieving archives that were created with 1.38.11.I am
running Redhat Enterprise Linux 4.0, I originally installed using RPMs so I am
assuming that (after backing up my current install), I could just run the new
RPMs for Redhat Enterprise 4.0. If anyone knows of any issues with Redhat
Enterprise 4.0 and doing upgrades, I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks.Neal
