This sounds like the problem I was having, part of which was that the 
'mount' command didn't cause the expected tape changer activity to 
occur, despite the fact that in every other aspect the system seems to 
be working.  'Label', for example, does cause the autochanger to swap in 
the correct tape before labeling it.  In a series of list emails from a 
few days ago, Arno suggested that I create a bug report for this.  
Thoughts?  (Kern?)
