Hello All,I am new to using Bacula and I cannot find in the documentation a
detailed description of the different volume status values. Some of them I
already figured out, but could someone please give me detailed descriptions for
all of the following volume status values:1: Append2: Archive3: Disabled4:
Full5: Used6: Read-OnlyI have Bacula working well for doing monthly full and
differential backups. But I now want to use it to archive some huge projects
(250GB to 350GB per project). I am assuming that I would run a backup job and
then when it is complete, manually change the status for that volume to
"Archive" in order to remove it from that pool, but I am not entirely sure. What
is the difference between "Archive" and Disabled"? Is disabled supposed to be
use to retire old volumes from a Pool?Oh, I am running Bacula 1.38.11 on Redhat
Enterprise 4.0.I am very happy with Bacula so far, just having trouble with
some of these details. I want to that Kern for all his hard work as well as
anyone else who has worked on this product. Thanks!Neal
