Ok, then it mght be something I had to work around myself :-)

When your spool area is full and another jobs starts spooling again,
this might happen.

My solution was to limit the spool size per job. I have a simple
situation because I have a larger number of small jobs than of big ones,
so I could limit the overall spool size to - arbitrary units - 100, the
big jobs to 80 and the small ones to 3. With my schedule, its now
(almost) impossible that the spool area fills up completely because
usually only a spool volume of less than 100 units is used.

The disadvantage is that it's not possible to use the spool space to 100
percent, but that's just what leads to the problem.
