Hello!

Our schedule consists of one full backup on sundays and several
incremental backups each day. Whenever a full backup is blocked for some
days (single tape drive, user interaction needed) several incremental
backups are queued and executed after the bull backup has completed,
while one diff would of course be enough.

My first idea was to cancel (and reschedule) the full backup if it has
to wait for the correct medium too long. If I set

"Max Wait Time = 2 minutes" in the job definition,

and I start the backup with the wrong tape, I get the message "Please
mount Volume ...", the status of the backup is "waiting for a mount
request" but the full backup is never canceled. When I add a "Max Start
Delay = ..." at the same position, the incremental backups are canceled
correctly (not my intention, just for checks).
BTW: My Bacula version is 2.0.0 (fd,dir and sd).

Why does MaxWaitTime not work? Is there any better solution for my
problem (except enabling multiple parallel jobs)?

Thanks,
Alexander
