First of all, let me wish you all a happy new year.

We are using Bacula in the version 1.39.11.

Yesterday we had to do a restore.
Everything works fine and all backuped data could be restored.
But during the restore, bacula had a strange behavior.

We do the backup to a file.
Bacula read the file with the full backup and keep reading the file, even
all needed data in this "tape/file" was already restored. After reaching the
EOF bacula ask for the incremental backup file.

My question now is, why have bacula read the fill untill the EOF?
From the catalog bacula should know which files are in the "tape" are stored
and stop reading after all available files are restored.

Is this a bug or a unwanted feature?

Thanks for your answer,
and i appologize for my bad english.

Ralf
