That looks like setting the volstatus to 'Used' is the best decision. The volumes will then be recycled as normal. > I'll check both the tapes for errors though. You know what to do when you see tape errors, I assume... the procedure to completely remove them from the catalog is a simple 'delete volume=' command, btw.
