Following up to this, after a weekend of continus drive activity, the system has now wedged totally after recycling 2 Pool tapes that weren't in the changer and any attempts to talk to bacula-sd in order to scan the slots after they were inserted (or to tell the drives to mount after manually updating the database's inchanger and slot flags) are resulting in infinite hangs It's been this way for about 6 hours.
