I'm not sure, but in any case you should convince your users to avoid such situations since a lot of Windows tools break with long path/filenames. If you *really* need to backup/restore such files, you might want to try to load the 1.39.26 Windows BETA file daemon, which does handle long paths. It *should* work with older Dir and Storage daemon. Good testing will be needed to prove this theory though.
