Yes normally the odd / even applies to the .38 / .39. But within the development releases (1.39.x), Kern has also been following the odd / even for the final component.
Cygwin is no longer used to build the Windows version. Now we use either a cross-compile build environment on Unix or a native Windows Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. The cross-compile environment is used for all external releases. The cross-compile is only "officially supported" on Linux but I have fixed any issues that I knew about so it also works on FreeBSD and others. I'll send you the installer in a separate message so that it doesn't go to the whole list. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Michael Brennen Sent: Wednesday, November 08, 2006 10:02 AM To: bacula-users@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: Re: [Bacula-users] Restoring archives on windows systems, compression+encryption On Wednesday 08 November 2006 11:44, Robert Nelson wrote: > Generally, released versions have even numbers; odd numbers are built from > the CVS. True. I've never tried to build the Windows side. My only means to do so is the cygwin suite, and up until now there has not been the need, as the Windows releases on SF have not been dependent on precise coordination with the CVS code in the same way as this set of compression+encryption fixes. > Since this fix was very recent there are no released versions available > incorporating it. My mail server can take that sort of attachment, and I would be happy to test it for you.
