The trickiest bit that I can think of right off would be automating the process. Most imaging systems like ghost that I've glanced at allow a client initiated backup, while bacula is more of a server initiated backup. You would have to set up your install environment to include a bacula console that is capable of triggering the appropriate restore job. Beyond that, basically all you'd have to do is script out and automate the steps in the bare metal recovery section of the recovery chapter. http://bacula.org/rel-manual/Disast_Recove_Using_Bacula.html If you do have success with this, it would be great if you could post your script and notes in the wiki. http://paramount.ind.wpi.edu/wiki -- Frank Sweetser fs at wpi.edu | For every problem, there is a solution that WPI Network Engineer | is simple, elegant, and wrong. - HL Mencken GPG fingerprint = 6174 1257 129E 0D21 D8D4 E8A3 8E39 29E3 E2E8 8CEC
