-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Scott,
Make sure you always copy the list, and it's probably best in these cases NOT to trim the original quote, because sometimes people jump in mid-way and aren't able to follow if there's no backstory. I was asking if the DVD was full when it was FINISHED writing. I was going on the hypothesis that "perhaps the DVD wasn't full when it was done being written, and that's why they weren't getting marked as full." My understanding is that a volume should only be marked full if a volume is being written to and the end of the volume is hit. I can't verify this, but I have always assumed that's the way it worked. Therefore, I would not expect to EVER end up with a full volume unless you have a job spanning two volumes, because the odds of you hitting the exact end of the volume are virtually nil. Can anyone verify this? Scott Simpson wrote: > On Wednesday 01 November 2006 20:47, you wrote: >> If is not full, I would not expect a 'Full' state, but instead 'Used' or >> similar.
