What you are saying doesn't make much sense to me since if I remember
right you were saying that it is the Director that is consuming memory. 
However, the Director never contacts the tray-monitor.

If you are talking about memory loss in bconsole, then I could believe it
since bconsole is not a daemon and even though it has memory leak
detection code, that has never been an important issue.  If you are
talking about tray-monitor leaking memory, that is totally another problem
as I don't generally run tray-monitor, and I could easily see a problem
there.

I suggest that you tie this problem down to the appropriate component, and
provide some really proof of the memory list in terms of listings.  Then
submit it as a bug to bugs.bacula.org
