Wops. I completely overlooked this. But I guess in order to use this parameter you have to let Bacula automatically create volumes in the pool, don't you? > > And yes, smaller disk volumes are better than HUGE ones. > > To split existing volumes up? I don't know. Well the manual (now that a know where to look) says that at least you can update this setting for existing volumes with the 'update volume' command on the console. So I assume that Bacula will recycle the old huge volume, notice the new limit and create as many volumes as needed during the next backup run. > >> >> >> -- >> Mit freundlichen Gruessen / with kind regards >> Rudolph Bott >> >> ------------------------------------------------------------------- >> Megabit Informationstechnik GmbH Karstr.25 41068 Moenchengladbach >> Tel: 02161/308980 mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ftp://megabit.net >> Fax: 02161/3089818 mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://megabit.net >> ------------------------------------------------------------------- >> >> ------------------------------------------------------------------------- >> Take Surveys.
