hi all, i'm running into the gui issue right now.
what is the rationale behind bacula restore? is it the admin's job? or can it also be the client machine user (think losedows xp machine w/ one permanent user)? backuppc went w/ the latter, but sometimes it can be too much responsibility for the final user. imho, the solution lies in between. the admin should give the temporary right to the user to look up which files he need, then when he's done, lock up the restore ability. this gives the benefit of letting the concerned person find the files he needs, and the admin the power to harness user's ability to mess up his system. good night, mlistus __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
