I read some mails about this situation, went you make Full-Backups on tape without any compression enable in bacula-dir.conf->FileSet, and Differential-Backups on disk but you want to enable compression to save some extra GB on disk, in my case i will save about 8-10GB of data a day if i enable this.
I have never try this, but i think that someone can modifiy the bacula-dir.conf -> FileSet each time you decide, but will be some day that you are going to forget or not be on your office to made the changes and something unpredictable will happend.
Exist some future project for this..?
