You simply limit the size of the volume files. This can be set up in the
pool definition as well as in the storage device definition. It's in the
manual, and I think you already have this working.

Actually, you do not necessarily need the "fake" changer setup for disk
files.

You need to set up a label format. In the pool setup, include a "Label
Format" directive.
