I do not know.  Easily tested though.

P.S.  My guess is yes, the Volume parameter does get updated.  I 
conclude that because of the relabelling, which creates a new Volume. 
 There will be a new entry in the Volume table.     New label == new 
volume.  I still recommend testing to verify.
