All, I finally figured out where my config was wrong,
my Tape pool didn't have the media type defined. bacula was very confused, once I added this definition, and reloaded, the job that was in the queue started and completed. I'll be adding in the config for a few more clients and testing it for a coupla months. Bacula is a Great program. I have to say that as a user of many open source applications, that the documentation and support for bacula is up there with the best.. Stellar. I'm sure I'll have more questions as time goes on.
