Uh, I must have forgotten something. Can you send me what I offered to the community to vote on? The last vote was in November 2005 if I remember right, and we will probably have another one this November. All the Feature Requests that I have received to date are in the "projects" file in the main directory of the CVS. If one is missing, chauk it up to human error -- it is because my previous procedures for dealing with Feature Requests was not idea. The current proceedure is better though not really ideal. > > I agree that you can recycle and reuse disk volumes, however in the way > I implement bacula and the naming convention for my disk volumes it > makes more sense for me to create a new volume and remove the purged > than to recycle to the purged volumes. > > I will look into the procedure for submitting the request formally to > you for the feature. > > David Wilson > Network Security Engineer > PAETEC Communications, Inc. > > -----Original Message----- > From: Kern Sibbald [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Monday, August 28, 2006 5:12 PM > To: bacula-users@lists.sourceforge.net > Cc: Wilson, David; Arno Lehmann > Subject: Re: [Bacula-users] Automatic Disk Volume Deletion > > On Monday 28 August 2006 21:15, Wilson, David wrote: > > I guess I could make due with using Python. > > > > Kern can you comment on the estimate time of implementation for this > > feature? > > That is pretty much impossible without a properly formulated Feature > Request > since I the feature is not yet well defined. > > Although this concept has been discussed, to the best of my knowledge no > > Feature Request has been submitted and accepted for it.
