Hello,
I am setting up bacula with an Exabyte EZ17A autoloader.
The autoloader has a sony tape drive (works perfectly) and a 7 tapes
magazines.

I know, I have to issue a mt -f /dev/nst0 offline to put the drive offline.

When I start the btape command fill with multiple tape I receive the
following output
Wrote blk_block=705000, dev_blk_num=1000 VolBytes=45,480,888,064
rate=5659,6 KB/s
24-aoû 18:17 btape: End of Volume "TestVolume1" at 67:4023 on device
"Exabyte" (/dev/nst0). Write of 64512 bytes got -1.
24-aoû 18:17 btape: Re-read of last block succeeded.
btape: btape.c:2301 Last block at: 67:4022 this_dev_block_num=4023
btape: btape.c:2335 End of tape 67:0. VolumeCapacity=45,675,972,320.
Write rate = 5643,2 KB/s
24-aoû 18:17 btape: End of medium on Volume "TestVolume1"
Bytes=45,675,972,320 Blocks=708,023 at 24-aoû-2006 18:17.
24-aoû 18:19 btape: Invalid slot=0 defined, cannot autoload Volume.
Mount blank Volume on device "Exabyte" (/dev/nst0) and press return when
ready:

slot zero is the tape drive. But I don't understand why btape try to use
the slot 0.

Can someone help me ?

Is it possible to initiate an autoload without first writing a full tape ?
