Is there a way to make Bacula abandon a backup job if the database is corrupt?

From time to time a Bacula backup creates a huge log file full of database error messages. This prevents the "backup result" email being sent because the message is too big. On some systems the hard drive gets full and that causes more problems. It would be very useful to be able to specify to abandon the backup if the number of database errors exceeds some given number.

TIA
