Hi! I may not have the answer for you but I might have a plausible explanation.
I do a lot backups over the internet and some of them are quite large. Sometimes when I do the fullbackups they fail a few times. The reason for that is that the connection is not maintained through the entire time that it takes to complete the fullbackup. I had a fullbackup which was 62 GB large and I had to do it 4 times before it completed successfully.
