Hi,

I have the last version of Bacula with "dvd+rw-tools" + requested patch.
on my system. I could set the .conf files and can access through
bconsole. The problem is that when I try to make a backup to a DVD+RW,
bacula is asking to label the media and when I do command LABEL, it is
presenting the following message:

3910 Unable to open device "DVD_Writer" (/dev/hda): ERR=There is no
valid media in the device "DVD_Writer" (/dev/hda).

I can use dvd+rw-tools to view DVD features, also can fast blank a dvd
using dd command, and can make a manual backup using growisofs. When I
run dvd-handler /dev/hda free, I can see the result without problem.

Somebody knows what is going on here? Can someone give me a light?

Thanks a lot. Regards.

Marcelo
