You'll need version 1.39 (the current beta) to get the migration support you'll 
need.  

One way to do this is to have a local director and SD supporting a local disk 
pool at each site, and the machine at the remote site with the autochanger 
running a SDs on a different port for each site, using subsets of the LTO 
changer drives. You'll need to define different volume pools for each local 
site (you won't be able to consolidate volumes because the different directors 
won't be aware of each other, and thus won't know what volumes are being used 
by each director). 

Once that's done, then you write a little script at the remote site that brings 
up the link between the local site and the remote archival site and then runs 
bconsole to submit the migration job for that site. Schedule that with cron, 
and you're off to the races.

Not as elegant as it could be (compared to something like TSM's 
server-to-server migration function), but that's possible with the current 
state of the code in 1.39.
