Yes, it was the drive itself, which produced i/o errors during backup.
The error looked like tape errors on first sight, not reproduceable at 
all. After 2 Weeks of non-successfull troubleshooting i called my dealer 
and described my problems. NEC replaced the whole loader, since then we 
have error-free bacula-backups :-)
By the way, Kern and all the other developers, let me say thank you for 
that great piece of Software you created.
