See the "Projects" and "Projects Vote" on www.bacula.org
That at least shows what's currently being worked on. You can find reports
from the developers about particular projects from bacula lists, especially
the devel list.

The odd numbers are development versions, AFAIK. So there never was 1.37
"stable release", and I think won't be 1.39 either, although the developers
currently propably have these numbers in heavy use. I guess the next release
will be 1.40. Similar case to looking for stable linux 2.3.x or 2.5.x series
kernel.

For the schedule: eg. thread "Bacula Migration project status + misc" opened
a few days ago gives some hint. "Maybe by the end of this year", is how I
read it.
