=> If you are talking about btape tests for drive / autochanger: I did run them all when I started controlling the autochanger with bacula and all tests succeeded just fine. I did have a close look on the results and there really was not a single error / failure / warning.... whatsoever.

=> Yes the thing here is: Since bacula doesn't get a response from the "loaded drive 0" commmand because "ERR= Operation not permitted", it can't know that the appropriate tape is already in the drive. So the job fails with the above error.

The next job after that one, however, gets a response from the "loaded drive 0" command, does see the tape still in the drive and appends data as well as succeeds in the most normal way without any problems.
This is stunning me.
