Hi All,

I have been having a little problem for the last couple of weeks. The catalog
record for the currently used tape in my Diff pool keeps getting borked. The
slot number which should be 19, keeps getting set to 0 somehow. Then in the
morning when I get in to work my mail box is full of the following messages:

11-Jul 04:04 jet-sd: Please mount Volume "Diff_1_Slot-6" on Storage Device
"Quantum-SDLT" for Job Jet_Backup_Routine.2006-07-11_01.04.00

I Open up bconsole and look at the volume records, and sure enough bacula
doesn't know where to find the tape. I use update volumes to modify the slot
number for that tape, and everything works and the backup fires off, but after
the backup the slot number in the catalog gets lost again, and the next backup
gets delayed.

Does anyone have any insight as to what is causing this?

SETUP:
Debian - Sarge
Bacula 1.36.2 - mysql flavor.

Cheers,
Silas
