My department is looking into purchasing a StorageTek L700 take library for doing backups of research data. What i need to know if any one uses this device with bacula? How well it works? Problems and issues?
Before we spend the money, i want to have know if it will work with bacula. Any help would be appreciated. I'm currently using bacula 1.36.3, but will upgrade to the new version when if we buy the new tape library. We currently back up around 4 TB, but will just to around 60TB when we install the new library. This data is maintained over 25 servers each with about 4TB attached. The network is 1Gb. Oh, and i like bacula allot. In the nine months I've been using it i have had only two small problems which were quickly resolved.
