Hello,

I am running a Gentoo NIS server and I have the latest Bacula installed
(blahhhhhh).

The issue is simple. According to the Bacula documentation you can run a
job from within a job using the 'run = <job name>' command (have a look
at the job resource definition on the home page).

However, when I start the Bacula service it tells me that I cannot use
the 'run' command inside of a job definition and the service fails to
start. It suggest that perhaps I have a missing bracket in my file , but
this is not the case.
Now, either you can use the 'run =' command or you cannot.

It will really make the bacula-dir.conf file bigger and bulkier than
necessary if I cannot run a job from within another job.

Suggesting ways to do this another way is ok...but lets get real..there
are ten different ways to do anything in Bacula and they're all just as
confusing as the next, and I've spent a week of company time just learning
to make a Director file as it is, so please try to limit responses to the
main issue (yes or no to using the 'run =' command in a job resource.)

I'm guessing this is just a difference between revisions...

Thankyou.
:-)
