Hello,
I have been using bacula for the last several months, and it has been
running well. Just in the last week I have noticed that bacula isn't
sending email messages, and I am getting this error in bconsole:
*messages
25-May 07:35 corolla-dir: Error: open mail pipe
/usr/local/bacula/sbin/bsmtp -h localhost -f "(Bacula) [EMAIL PROTECTED]"
-s "Bacula daemon message" [EMAIL PROTECTED] failed: ERR=Cannot allocate memory
I am running 1.38.9, compiled from source on Centos 4.3.
I am able to use the bsmtp command to send a message from a shell:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# echo test | /usr/local/bacula/sbin/bsmtp -h localhost
-f "(Bacula) [EMAIL PROTECTED]" -s "Bacula" [EMAIL PROTECTED]
You have new mail in /var/spool/mail/root
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# tail -n 1 /var/log/maillog
May 25 07:48:08 corolla sendmail[7718]: k4PBm7nl007717:
to=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, ctladdr=<(Bacula) [EMAIL PROTECTED]> (0/0),
delay=00:00:01, xdelay=00:00:00, mailer=local, pri=30433, dsn=2.0.0,
stat=Sent
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]#
I would welcome any ideas for how to further troubleshoot this problem.
Thank you,
Mark
