Hi All,
I'm having trouble with a rescue cd created on Gentoo and I really need some guidance.
The system is running gentoo 2005 -> x86_64
I build a static version of bacula-fd 1.36.1
Create the cd with Bacula-rescue version 1.8.3
But it system kernel panics at boot time with the following error:
RAMDISK: Compressed image found at block 0
VFS: Mounted root (ext2 filesystem).
Mounted devfs on /dev
VFS: Cannot open root device "(NULL)" or unknown-block(8,3)
Please append a correct "root=" boot options
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(8,3)
